PROTECTING OUR NATURAL RESOURCES
Land & Water Alliance
We are a Tennessee Public Benefit Corporation advancing lawful, transparent, and environmentally accountable infrastructure development — protecting our land, water, and long-term community interests.
We advocate for the community, not against development.
The Land & Water Alliance exists to ensure that infrastructure development in our region is conducted transparently, lawfully, and with genuine accountability to the people it affects. We are not anti-technology. We are not anti-growth. We are for good governance — and we believe that communities deserve both measurable environmental standards and a meaningful voice in decisions that shape their future. Our work unites neighbors across political lines around principles every Tennessean can support: local control, responsible development, transparent process, and long-term stewardship of the land and water that sustain our way of life.
Large-scale infrastructure requires careful, independent review.
As significant new development enters our region, our community has both the right and the responsibility to examine its real-world impacts — not marketing promises. Growth without accountability is not sustainable development.

Membership establishes the legal standing our organization needs to advocate — and litigate — on your behalf. You are protected from having to navigate high-profile legal action alone.
Volunteer
Help us build an evidence-based case. Volunteers safely document public nuisances, log environmental data, and file Tennessee Public Records Act requests to surface government documents.
Donate
As a 501(c)(3), donations are tax-deductible. Contributions go directly into a dedicated account used strictly for legal retainers, expert witnesses, and court costs.
